Bajaj Chetak Electric bookings stopped within 48 hours due to high demand

Bajaj Auto had re-opened Chetak Electric's bookings on April 13 but decided to pause it once again within 48 hours due to heavy demand.   Bajaj Auto has announced that it has stopped accepting bookings for the Chetak electric scooter due to heavy demand for the vehicle. The company re-opened bookings for the battery-powered two-wheeler on Tuesday morning and decided to pause the bookings once again due to a large number of confirmed orders. The Pune-based auto maker announced that it will 'review the supply situation' and will announce details on the next booking round in the future. Commenting on the customer response, Mr. Rakesh Sharma, Executive Director at Bajaj Auto Ltd., said, “We are absolutely delighted to see the fabulous response to the re-opening of bookings for the Chetak electric scooter in Pune and Bengaluru." It gets a thicker crash guard, child foothold, wider tank, dual texture and dual stitched premium seats. Bajaj Auto on Thursday announced the launch of the new CT110X in the Indian market. The new CT110X is the top-end variant of the commuter bike which gets a number of additional features over the existing trims. It has been priced at ₹55,494 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The bike comes with a multitude of changes which as per Bajaj have been added 'keeping the customer needs in mind'.
